We had a small party for Max's first birthday. There wasn't really a theme, because, well, we're lazy. Though there was a robot cake (made by yours truly)!






And cake pops! Faces kindly provided by my mom and the food coloring markers.



Needless to say, the birthday boy needed to shirtless for the cake.






I did not let him at the fondant, though there was more than enough buttercream under it to make him happy.

And there were presents! But more importantly, PAPER!




A good time was had by all. Except the robot. Poor tasty robot.

A perennial favorite.

This outfit was for a friend's bridal shower. He's such a natty dresser, if I do say so myself.



(also, I so need a pedicure)

but no flight of the conchords this time. Alas.
